The Centre for Advance Studies, like many HFA buildings, is based on a courtyard plan. Half of the tight site had to be left open for sports activities. The building’s ground floor plan is dominated by the administrative facilities of the school, while the semi-basement holds classes for the younger children and the library. The first three floors house the classrooms, multi-purpose hall, laboratories and other academic facilities.
